Wonderful

A wonderful place. The standard of Rimba Villas is nothing short of world class. The location is perfect, at the heart of the community in the north of the island. You’re 5 minutes from the beach with a chance to catch awe-inspiring sunsets. The team at the Villa will look after you faultlessly and they clearly care with real passion about the guest experience. I would recommend Rimba Villas without a moment’s hesitation

Exceptional

Rimba Villas is perfect if you want to stay a bit away from the crowded, beachfront areas. Our family got the 3-br villa, and we loved having all that space. When you get to the island, it's possible to walk from the pier, but if you have heavy, wheeled luggage, hiring a cidomo would be a better idea. If you have a lovely wife and kids, and you do decide to make them walk the 15 mins to the villa, at midday, along the semi-paved road, because the cidomo is asking for an extra 50k IDR, well, the villa comes with a nice massage shed in the garden where you can sleep if they lock you out. You'll also be further away from some popular restaurants and shops, but rental bikes are available nearby, and restaurants will deliver (have cash for this). We loved the staff, we loved our rooms (the 3rd bathroom is not ensuite), we loved that it wasn't a chlorinated pool, we were supposed to stay two nights but changed our itinerary last minute so that we could stay an extra night. We would definitely be staying here again.

We loved the house and garden and would highly recommend it in this magnificent part of the world.

This is a little gem on the island. Although it is a short walk to the beach, it is in a quiet, pleasant part. We loved the layout of the home, the garden and private pool, the facilities and the general atmosphere. The staff are friendly and very helpful and go out of their way to make sure you are happy. We can highly recommend this to those wanting a bit of space and a home to stay in that is just lovely within a short walk of everything.

I would have liked one soft, comfy chair in the living area. The bar stools are not that comfortable which left only the couch to relax on in the house.

Excellent private villa in Gili Air

It was exceptional: amazing and comfortable villa, nice pool, beautiful environment, and friendly staff giving great advice on where to find the best places to eat. Also, the AC unit was very good and silent, so you can sleep without disturbances.

Everything was great. The only thing for improvement: the pool and garden could be cleaned every few days. At the end of our 4 days stay, the pool had some leaves and insects. This would close the rating to absolute 100%.

Heavenly Island Escape

Rimba Villas was a heavenly sanctuary on our tropical island escape. The design of the villa is stunning and the pool was perfect. Everyone here was so friendly and helped with anything we needed. It's easy to walk to different parts of the island and only a short walk to the beach and beautiful sunsets. We just wished we'd booked to stay longer!

It was all perfect.

Lovely villa spoiled by building works

The villa itself is lovely and as pictured, it was really spacious and had good air conditioning.

Unfortunately our stay was spoiled by building works right next door between the hours of 9-5. A bit of hammering I can take but we are talking high pitched power tools. It meant we were not comfortably enjoying the villa during the day. I think we should have been told ahead of arriving. I spent a lot of money flying across the world for a relaxing trip to end up on a building site. Not good especially when their whole brand is around serenity and tranquility.

Quiet, peaceful, wonderful escape on Gili Air

Wonderful stay. The staff is amazing, great people, always helpful - can arrange bikes (highly recommended), transport, trips, and kitchen stuff right in a moment. Especially thanks to Titi, her smile makes everybody else smile! It was possible to do early check in and late check out - because it's great to stay inside and enjoy the beauty of a garden :) Honestly - if you like it on photos, just take it. It's like on a picture but better;)

We had an amazing and wonderfull stay, can highly reccomend Rimba Villas, all super friendly, we would book it definitly again, just loved it❤️

Just a small thing, the bycicle had to be payed extra.

Very good

The room itself and the pool are were amazing. The hotel also has bikes for rental which was very convenient since that’s the only mode of transport around the island. They were also very helpful in terms of recommendations around the island for food, beaches, and things to do.

The hotel is decently located - not too far from anything, however cycling back at night was slightly scary since most of the roads and sandy/ broken and amongst the trees, and completely dark.

The location is close to the beach, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, cosy living room with a beautiful view of the pool & garden, everything is so perfect!

The breakfast is good but the menu is very limited

I was impressed with the Cleanliness of the villa, everyone was wearing masks , felt very safe :)

The breakfast service is amazing, five stars!The villa is just 2 minutes from the beach. The swimming pool was a dream, and kept clean daily by very friendly staff

The villa, the pool and the whole place is stunning. The bed was very comfortable. Clean and modern. The best place on the island.

Hire a horse carriage to get to the place. Walking in the heat was very difficult. Breakfast options are limited.
