The location was perfect, rooms, amenities, the pool and grounds were always kept clean and well presented. What really made our whole trip were the staff. The guys looking after Voodoo are the absolute BEST at hospitality, always made to feel welcome and safe and nothing was too hard. You can tell hospitality is their passion.
Just steps up to room could be a little safer ;)

Very helpful and kind staff
Loved the pool with the swim up bar and a community feel - feels like staying in a private room in a hostel, without the crazy parties or rowdiness
Loved the breakfast, and that you can choose from different options every day
The hotel organizes activities which is convenient
Check-in was smooth and easy
Room was very clean, and outdoor private shower was a unique bonus, surprisingly no bugs at all!
The walls are a bit thin, and you can hear all kinds of noises - the mosque at 5am, the neighbours, people showering

Staff were incredible and food was great. Loved the pool. Stay here was wonderful and hope to return.
Loved Voodoo but small changes could be fridge in room and stairs were difficult for short people.

Beautiful little spot once you get there up the side streets.
Didn’t go in pool as it was full of caterpillars 🐛 which was a huge let down.
Air con wasn’t working so night times were unbearable.
