The room was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean as well. We really liked that the bathroom was outdoors.. it was such a nice and unique experience. The pool was also very pleasant. The water was warm, but still refreshing enough to cool down after a hot day.
The location is perfect. The property is a little away from the main busy street, so it’s peaceful and quiet, while everything is still close by. It takes around 20 minutes to walk to the port, and you can also rent bicycles directly at the property, which is very convenient.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only small thing that wasn’t really our style was being asked where we were going or what we were planning to do almost every time we left. We completely understand that this probably came from friendliness and genuine interest, but personally we prefer a little more privacy and don’t really like having to explain our plans every time we go out.
Overall, we had a really great stay and would definitely recommend Casa Kapuas! 🤍
