I had seen from other reviews that not only was Lotus Villa Almarik a place with great location but also comforable with very good staff.
They were even more kind, thoughtful, welcoming and the reception and housekeeping staff were incredibly helpful and sweet - some of the nicest and loveliest people we met in our Indonesian holiday.
The hotel with villa-style rooms was so comfortable and spacious - easy to relax in and enjoy.
Great location to be near snorkelling points and not in a super noisy area.
We loved the beautiful flowers as you walk through the hotel outdoor area.
Thank you to Suzi, Willy, Matthew and all the front reception desk for always working so hard to look after us and the very kind housekeeping staff - if we can come to Gili Trawangan again we would love to be back at Lotus Villa Almarik.
It was a bit trickier to find out best place to find snorkelling gear for hire.

It was clean, staff excellent, definitely worth them organising pick up from airport and fast boat return. Loved that they asked me that in the booking.

Everything was five star in my view. The rooms were perfect and the bed and pillows so comfortable! Pool was great size . The beach access was great with heaps of lounges
And there were turtles every day in the clear and warm water. Location short stroll to centre of Gili. We ate most meals at the Vila which had a wide range of cuisines and was top quality. They have a great free afternoon tea with local treats and it was our fave part of the day. By far the best thing was the staff- so friendly and helpful and they remembered our fave foods and drinks as well. Can not fault our stay and the property. Will will definitely stay there when we return.

Right next to Turtle Point. Staff is super nice - they also help us rent 4 bicycles and all of them were in great conditions. Tea time with some cakes/cookies at 4pm is a nice touch.
Resort is old and in need of a renovation. Hairdryer is fixed to the wall and is falling apart. It's close to the mosque so you will hear it at 5am!
