Nous avons apprécié la piscine, la terrasse et l’intérieur De la Villa (sauf la salle de bain)
Nos hôtes étaient charmants, serviables et disponible prêt à tout pour rendre service.
Le petit déjeuner est correct également, même si ce n’est pas le meilleur que nous ayons eu.
La localisation De la Villa en saison des pluies :
Les deux accès De la Villa sont bloqués par deux énormes flaques d’eau rendant obligatoire son franchissement à pied ( sans trop savoir ce qu’il y a dessous..).
, avec une décharge de sac poubelle d’un cote pour couronner le tout !
Obligé de commander des carioles à cheval pour sortir et revenir à l’hôtel (a 150kR la sortie !!)
La salle de bain s’inonde en saison des pluies, celle ci étant un peu à l’extérieur..,
De la terre et de l’eau sous les pieds quand on va au toilettes …,

Todo excelente, es una villa digna de luna de miel. El trato del personal es inmejorable, muy serviciales. Desayunos ricos. Te preparan la cama sino estás, toallas para la piscina, chanclas, batas, alquiler bicis, te asesoran en lo que les preguntes. La bañera muy grande.
Hicimos el snorkel trip privado por 900rp y nos ha parecido un robo porque ha durado 2 horas (sin comida incluida). Lo bueno es que nos dejaron en Gili Meno después que era donde teníamos el siguiente hotel.

The staff were just wonderful, really helpful, friendly and personable.
The private pool is a great size.
The villa itself is beautifully presented, just a bit dated.
The bugs were A LOT. We are travelling Indonesia for 3 months, so I’m used to a few bugs… but this was a bit unmanageable.
I was bitten to death every night from the mosquitos.
Because the ceiling is thatch, and the doors don’t shut tight, it just meant there were so many bugs and mosquitos constantly in the room.
As it’s located back from the sea front, there are more mosquitos there to start with.
We also had a visitor every night (rat we think) in our roof, which again was a bit disruptive every night!
Apart from that, which I know it’s just part and parcel of staying in Indonesia the villa was beautiful.
But if bugs aren’t your thing, maybe stay somewhere else.

Fantastic!! Beautiful large room with comfortable bed. What make this place special are staff. A big shout out to June. Great location - close enough to walk from harbour with luggage and even shorter walk to bars and beach. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here

Great place, quite big for two people, the pool is great, you can have your breakfast by the pool. The location is good as well, pretty convenient.
The manager is great, but some of the staff is a little clueless. For instance: breakfast not on time (annoying when you have some activities planned), room service coming too often in the room (staff coming in to clean the pool at 5pm meanwhile we were not at the villa the entire day), or not being able to tell us where is the button to switch off the lights of the pool, not refilling the mini bar with beverages. Overall they are super nice and willing to help, but it’s missing some sort of common sense.

We really enjoyed our short 3 nights here. The room is beautiful with large wide glass doors opening to the private pool. The pool is lovely, the water the right temperature. there is a small kitchenette area with a good sized fridge. The bed is comfortable, the lighting is good, the traditional roof & ceiling is just lovely. The staff are absolutely amazing! They go way beyond the norm to ensure you have a really fabulous stay and we can't thank them enough.
The walk to the beachfront at Scallywags is about 2 minutes, or 5 minutes in the other direction to the main street of 'town' so it's actually in a great location. Yes, we would certainly book here again without a doubt!

Staff were absolutely amazing - couldn't be more helpful! Room was really big, clean and incredibly pretty. Breakfast was good and we even got a turn down service before we went to bed. Lovely private pool and outdoor bathroom was excellent! Location is good - about 5 min walk from the harbour, about 7 mins from main strip of cafes and about 6 mins from lovely beaches. Would recommend and would stay again!

We loved our stay in the A Villa. The staff were so polite and attentive from the beginning. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was super, just a 5 minutes walk from the beach and a 10 minute walk from the port. Great value for money. I’d definitely return here!
The kitchen area and the breakfast could do with a little improving but overall not a big deal!

Beautiful space, loved the outdoor kitchen, dining and private pool. Very helpful staff, felt well looked after.

I liked everything about the location, the property, the wonderful staff especially Eliya and June and the overall vibe of Gili Air. I'm so pleased I made the decision to stay here. The private pool was amazing. Always clean and frankly luxurious. A large 4K TV with Netflix was a bonus too. The mattress, furnishings, outdoor bathroom all top notch. I was warned about the salt water shower so that was OK. I'm glad that the location was close, only 350m or so to the beach (east side) but far enough from the music and nightlife bustle. Something I'll add about the east vs west side that others haven't mentioned is the east side has better sand and the gradient is steeper meaning you can swim there at all tides. And turtles were right there. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!
The private villa was cleaned every day with a turn down service in the early evening. The staff could not be more helpful. The breakfasts were good but I can't recommend the evening meal room service. It's not really a criticism and it's almost petty and churlish to mention it but our evening meals took forever to arrive and were cold and bland when they did. "A" for effort though. Maybe the cook had gone home and the boys did their best is my guess. The simple solution is to eat out. The chargrilled BBQ with unlimited salads at the Chillout Resto on the beachfront with its huge array of freshly caught fish, prawns, plus chicken and steak if you must more than compensated.

One afternoon the chef was away so the staff member went to the local restaurant to get us their menu and order us food.

Floor boards near the pool were broken and need some maintenance - potentially dangerous
Hot water wasn't working until the last day of our stay - not much could be done about that though and also it's not really needed given it's so hot

Staff were very attentive and on hand to help with requests as and when anything was needed. They helped to set us up a floating breakfast one morning, and also carried our bags to the harbour on departure. We rented bikes from the hotel for a day which were cheap and worked well. Having Netflix available on the tvs in the room was a nice touch!
A few things in need of a refresh in the villa but seems as though they are renovating currently. There was no water pressure when you turned the shower temperature up so it was impossible to have a warm shower. Breakfast was just average.

Staff accidentally sending what’s apps to us discussing our movements and friend who visited the villa, which was inappropriate, and really annoyed us.
breakfast was below average, like really poor.
Zero hot water in bathroom, gave up asking.
Staff not really friendly or approachable, it just had a weird vibe, it’s a shame as the concept is good.

The Proximity to the beach, harbour and bars. The staff were friendly and always available. The hotel could have been made to be the perfect quiet spot.
The hotel and the rooms show signs of needing a lot of love and care. When we arrived, the 'beautuful' bath was very dirty and taps did not work. The shower pressure was very weak and was salt water. The beds needed mosquito nets
We did point these issues to the staff and to their credit they did try and fix them - but I think the solution requires a lot more effort than someone 'taking a look'.

Spacious villa located only a short walk from the beach, maybe 2 mins. Great to see the sun rise from the beach here.
