Super !

Le personnel est exceptionnellement gentil, serviable et toujours disponible. Les cottages sont incroyablement confortables, équipés d'un lit à baldaquin avec moustiquaire, de la climatisation et d'une douche intérieure-extérieure unique. Le ménage est impeccable, et des produits de bain gratuits sont fournis aux clients. L'emplacement est extraordinaire, situé directement sur la plage avec des chaises longues réservées aux clients de l'hôtel et un accès à une piscine.

Le petit-déjeuner inclus dans la réservation est limité, avec seulement le choix d'une boisson et d'un accompagnement, ce qui n'est pas assez copieux. Le restaurant de l'hôtel pour le déjeuner et le dîner souffre de lenteur dans le service, avec des temps d'attente de 45 minutes. De plus, le Wi-Fi ne fonctionne pas correctement et a un signal faible, ce qui est un inconvénient pour un hôtel de cette catégorie. Un accès Internet fiable est essentiel, ne serait-ce que pour planifier nos activités.

Very good

Great location and nice big rooms. Late at night our air conditioning made a loud noise. The maintenance man came straight away to fix it.

We were placed right up the back rooms and we could smell the garbage next door in the lane way.

A brilliant jungalo-style beach hut hotel with immense views of the sea

Scallywags is an excellent little hotel chain with great staff, great food and a great view of the beach for dining and lounging. The property is well-maintained and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Also took advantage of the fact that this is also a dive centre and has some phenomenal dives with an excellent diving instructor. I would highly recommend doing diving with Mario if you haven't done it before - Gili islands have some insanely beautiful five spots.

The properties were not the cleanest and could have done with more dusting and more thorough cleaning in the shower areas of our rooms. Also the rooms had very compact storage space / wardrobe space so couldn't really 'spread out' in the room and had to leave a lot of items in my suitcase to avoid clutter.

Good just noisy

The location was great though if you are after something a little quieter move up the beach about 500metres, to some lovely smaller cheaper hotels that looked great. Go to chill out bar up the road for awesome service and food. The rooms were nice and comfortable bed.

The disco next door was very loud some nights making it hard to sleep. No pool as such. It’s outside the bar so not in sun

Loved the beach front restaurant for breakfast, sunbeds ,proximity to restaurants and the harbour.

We were very happy with the accommodation, though did hear that the rooms at the back of the property weren’t as nice as 1b where we stayed.

The location is amazing, there are the best beaches in front of the bungalows. The breakfast is great, wide variety, great portion, very taste and beautiful environment.

Great location

The location was great- we were in the beach bungalows. We liked the gardens and how close we were to the beach. There was always enough water to swim (other beaches were tidal so became too shallow). The bed was incredibly comfortable with lovely bedding and pillows. The property was very quiet in the daytime. We loved the foot baths to clean our feet from sand!

If you’re travelling with young children, be aware there is a restaurant next door which has live music until 10.30- 11 most nights you can also hear music from other bars. This is not the fault of Scallywags and didn’t spoil our time there.

Awesome location right next to the beach and yet very quiet Lots of restaurant choices within 20 metres The staff are so friendly and helpful And not fogetting Gili Air - just a stunning island and so enjoyed the daily walk around the island each morning

Friday nights can be noisy with party night nearby with the music from a nearby bar (only on Friday nights and the rest of the week is quiet) The rubbish floating by each day and on the beach. Bali and Indonesia seriously need to get serious about this instead of just blaming Lombok and the government

Smell and high music at neighbour hotels

Very relaxing place and good staff

A lot of bad smelling garbage at the neighbours hotel, and high music until 03:00 AM at the other side. Staff gave us a new room at sister hotel near to the harbours.

Exceptional

Stunning and very quiet place with highly attentive staff. Everything was of perfect quality and we just enjoyed our week there. This is very cosy place located just on the beach with high levels of service and great eco kitchen in the restaurant.

the villa was large and clean and tidy

like all of Gili Air, the call to prayer is very loud at 4am but this is their culture and I am just a guest so it is important to go with the flow.

Location and staff were wonderful, but the room was a little small , the 2nd room had a lot of bugs which were a worry.

Mango Retreat provides excellent accommodation with the loveliest staff, and beach club access

The room at Mango Retreat was immaculate and had every convenience, plus literally the most comfortable bed of our trip and HEAVENLY pillows. Great aircon, excellent storage and places to put your stuff. Lovely bathroom. Lovely little private garden and porch. Gorgeous little pool. It’s a bit of a walk from Scallywags HQ on the beach which we weren’t expecting but it was fine and probably made us spend more time on the beach than we would have. The main advantage to choosing one of the Scallywag’s many properties is that you can use the beach club and effectively have all the resources of a larger resort. Even though you’re really staying offsite. Mango retreat is also in easy access to a lot of family run warungs which we loved and enjoyed eating at. Whereas if you’re staying on the beach you’re a bit overwhelmed by more expensive touristy places. Big shoutout to the staff who are so delightful and go out of their way for you. We found them all so lovely, from the concierge to housekeeping to the restaurant staff. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and valued.

It’s a bit of a walk from the beach which we weren’t expecting. The promotion of the various properties is a bit misleading/confusing. You think you’re booking different rooms at the same property but really it’s different properties owned by the same organisation and you all get to use the beach club.

It was really nice and relaxing

The location is very nice, the room and the pool are also very clean. Tha staff is friendly and will help you get around the island.

The bikes we rented were poor quality, there were no maintenance.

Exceptional

We felt super comfortable in the hotel, the bed was super comfortable and everything was very clean. The friendly staff helped us and informed us. It has a private beach and breakfast and food is at the tables they have on the beach. It has trees in case you want shade and perfect for children. We had a great time, we will be back!!!

We had an amazing experience in the Gili Islands.

excellent breakfast. lovely location overlooking the beach. it was great being so close to the centre and also to the beautiful snorkelling beach. it was also great to be next to the Zip restaurant who served up half price cocktails and yummy food

The rooms were expensive and quite small compared to what we were used to in Bali. unfortunately the beachfront complex is very close to the rubbish collection point and the smell was pretty bad most of the time. the staff were friendly enough but it was pretty clear that many of them were still learning the job. Im sure this will get sorted before we visit again.

Disappointing

We choose this resort in order to be near the harbour. However the position you find on booking is the one of the reception, the rooms were 15 min walking from there. One of the private rooms had a big spider in it. They came as soon as possible to solve the problem.

Pretty villas, relaxing stay, still coming out of Covid times

Have stayed at Beach Club many times, great villas across from the beach. Nice outdoor area, manicured garden, quiet and relaxing. Hotel staff are great.

The property is only just reopening after Covid, restaurant staff looked to be not yet in the swing of things. I couldn’t get any service from the beach, so gave up. Food was very average and neighboring places are more appetizing. There was a lot of rubbish on the beach and in the water, this used to be a great swimming location, but looks like the island rubbish is being stored or moved from next door (it smells).
