I was worried because there were some bad reviews, but I think it's a very good hotel. The location was good, the food was delicious, and the staff were kind and cheerful. I would like to use it again when I go to Gili Air.

Close to beaches, cafes etc. Quiet area, lovely circular general pool - very clean.
Not the resort's fault, but black moon party at Zipp bar nearby kept us awake till 3.30am first night.

The location was great
The phone in room didn't work so couldn't order drinks/ food, asked them to fix they said they would but never came back to do over 4 dys. When told man at reception said he would organise the drinks....an hour later still waiting so walked over to restaurant & ordered ourselves. Said they'd bring to us,another 40 min wait.
Also no one was ever at bar at all...think due to not great service possibly??
Staff looked very confused when you ordered anything.
They still pumped out the music at the bar till late at night even though empty, so hard to sleep.

Bed was extremely comfortable and a good size. Location was brilliant, quite close to the harbour and very close to great bars and restaurants.
Pool was beautiful, very nice to walk straight out and have access to such a large pool for swimming.
Area was quiet so could get a good night's rest.
Pool needs a bit more cleaning, be repaired to be moving lots of flies and debris out of your way when swimming.

The property is in need of a lot of maintenance. The pool looks nice but there are no steps to get in or out for anyone with mobility issues, so we were unable to swim. Bath towels provided were very old and worn.
First time to Gili so not sure what it was like prior to covid

The scenery was gorgeous. The infinity pool was worth the price alone. The bed was super comfortable.

Relaxing pool, with own access from good rooms. Staff is friendly and ready to help. Restaurant is very good with great view. Near from port and cafe and shops. 5 minutes from best beach to snorkeling.

The resort is so large it seems to be too big for the staff to maintain. They seemed to be working VERY hard every day to maintain it but I think it was overbuilt for the number of rooms and potential income.
The pool pump was never turned on so the water was not clean. I live in SE Asia with a resort style pool surrounded by gardens, so I understand leaves and debris are to be expected, but this was really bad.
I think they have 7 or 8 spa cabanas in the middle of the circular pool. I think there are only 20 rooms so it makes NO sense to have that many cabanas. They appear to have not been used for months (or longer) and the birds have taken over several of the cabanas.
The food was just OK, nothing to get excited about.

The staff at Gili Air Lagoon are lovely and very accommodating. The restaurant and pool in front of the resort was fabulous. The room was great and we loved the outdoor bathroom! the location is brilliant such a small island so close to everything anywhere you go really 👌🏼

the pool is great and there is another pool by the restaurant with see view which was awesome, the water temperature was great and food was good we ate pizza.

there is no beach at the front of the hotel.

Fabulous place to eat breakfast overlooking the sea.. basic but nice food.
situated between 2 lots of nice bars & restaurants & not far from where Speed ferry comes in.
fabulous to have own sunbed in the pool right in the front door of bungalow ..literally 1 step & in the water.
A more central bar area in the lobby would have been nice. Difficult to get access to the hotel as its tucked away had a donkey & cart to get there but a friend helped me when I checked out as I was really close to the little harbour.

the staff was very friendly and hospitable. They always tried to serve to the best of their ability. Room was very clean and holy area was very comfortable and peaceful.
The bed was a bit too hard even for me, who likes to sleep in a hard bed. The pool was a bit dirty. Every day they took leaves from the pool, but the bottom of the pool had sand and the walls were a bit slimy.

We loved the lagoon pool, and that everyone had their own little part of the pool with tanning beds! The room was beautiful and the bed was super comfy! They have a little restaurant with the most stunning view.
The Wifi connection wasn't great in our room. Also the room was very warm and the air conditioning never seemed to be able to cool it down enough.

The resort is in an excellent location and an easy 10 minute walk from the harbour and main street, with access to amazing restaurants and bars just around the corner. The option of the lagoon pool right outside the room or the pool overlooking the sea at the pool bar is great. The challenges of recent years and lack of tourist income is evident in that the resort requires some attention, but nothing that will distract from your enjoyment - it is, after all, a 3-star rating, not 5 star. The accommodation is clean and neat, and the staff are attentive. Aris was amazing in corresponding prior to our stay, assisting with changing dates efficiently. The breakfast of fruit, juice, coffee, tea, toast, eggs and sausage is sufficient. Bikes can be hired through the resort and are highly recommended to tour the island. A great stay and will definitely return!

The hotel was in a good position close to the Port, Main Street and beach bars. the room was spacious and the deck leading down to the pool sun beds was really nice.
The bed was uncomfortable, very hard, nothing some investment in mattress toppers couldn’t fix. the bar and restaurant was seperate from the actual resort and would have been nicer in the centre of the pool where the ugly unused massage huts are. it was always empty but I’m sure would not have been in the centre of the resort. the pool does need attention a very good clean and an upgrade on the filtration system, it seemed dirty due to leaves and bugs in it constantly.

Lagoon Resort is VERY close to the harbour.
And very close to amazing snorkeling spot where you 100% will see big turtles.
The staff is very accommodating and they will go out of their ways to make you feel comfortable.
The room is nice, the bed 7s comfortable and your needs is well taken care of.
There's a safe. Bathrobes and shower slippers.
There's a kettle and complimentary coffee and tea.
Unfortunately my friend fell and hurt her knee bad on the way up on the porch. Make sure that you turn the light on if you go out to dinner before it gets dark. When it's dark, it's very dark, and you'll most likely trip over the staggered floorplans. So be careful.
When that's being said; I absolutely liked it all!
The staff was nice, but I am unsure of if the manager made a crude remark about me and my name. It could be a simple misunderstanding due to language barriers, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Most of personnel has poor english, communication didnt work so well and there was misundertandings.
Advertising in Booking.com says there is 1 double bed and 2 single beds bit there is only the double bed in each room which are all similr. It also said that therw is a.shower plus bath/bubble bath but there is only shower

The location is great very near to the Harbour and the pool lagoon was nice to swim.
The aircon was not cooling properly during the day time so it was very hot in the room during the day. We particularly didn’t like the bathroom it was pretty ordinary and the water in the sink and shower was salty.

staff are very friendly and stepping into the pool from your room is unique and fun
it’s not on the beach and in fact in front of one of the roughest spots on this part of the coast. whole property needs some love and attention, many small problems. loud AC, broken closest, dirty pool, lots of weeds. I brought some issue to the attention of staff with no resolution so I left a day early and went to the hotel next door

Amazing value for money, the pool was magic and the peace and quiet was really appreciated. Using any criteria, the room was our best room in 10 weeks on the road.
Perhaps, and such a small thing, some comfy chairs on the grass or somewhere else to relax on.
