From check in to check out the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. In fact, from when you pull into the car park you get the feeling it’s a special place. The building is a beautifully well maintained old building with some rather stunning modern extras.
The room we had was spacious and beautifully presented, with a very comfy bed! Spacious bathroom with walk in shower.
The bar area, lounge areas, breakfast and dinner room were clean, tidy, and again had that old style feel but with modern features. But the garden was amazingly well kept and that view!! All worth it just for that!!
The food was stunning too both breakfast and dinner were perfectly cooked and presented.
But by far the shining star of this hotel is the staff and service you receive, faultless.

The Hotel has a lot of character and is in a beautiful location in the Dales. We watched lambs playing in the field as we had breakfast. There are great walks on to the Dales or down to the river from the front door. The staff were very friendly, and we had a lovely restful stay.

Picture postcard hotel. We had a garden room which was tastefully decorated and being able to sit in our own conservatory was great but the hotel had a bar and snug which were also lovely spaces. Beautiful garden with stunning views over to Hawes and it was just so peaceful to sit out there. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast and we also had dinner in the hotel and this was beautifully presented and delicious.
