We stayed here after watching a show at the Enmore Theatre. All the staff were great and check-in/out was so easy.
Honestly, there's a little noise from downstairs but it was quiet after 11pm and we didn't mind because we were getting back late from the show anyway.
Super easy walking location to shops, restaurants, the train station (like 10 mins to Central) and the Enmore Theatre.

I enjoyed my stay with my friends @Erko Hotel over a birthday weekend, it is an old pub and it comes with pub 4 star life with share bathrooms,kitchen ect. The room i had was spacious ,clean and air conditioned with a nice outlook. Staff were friendly and helpful the food was great that we ordered downstairs along with the tunes and entertainment. The vibrant lifestyle of Erko and Newtown.are recommended if you like alt and it wasn't as noisy upstairs as i had read about. There is a A.I generated lousy review i had read causing me alarm however after arrival i didn't agree with what had been raised and i believe this should be ignored . I think it was terribly unfair to the Erko and people who like to stay in this type of accommodation. Peter. AU

4 guests and 1 key is a bit weird.
4 guests and 2 towels is also a bit weird.
Locked balcony door and no windows that can be opened gives a bit weird indoor climate.
But price was cheap so all as expected and ok
$$$$
