Friendly and competent staff, taking good care of us during check-in. Monschau center is only 5 minutes walking away.
Easy and fast internet. Modern rooms, big enough to accommodate 2 persons.

Ok, my opinion is swayed as this was my first time back in my home town for 30 years. But despite that biased opinion, reception was quick, fuss free and professional. Room was clean, very functional I'd say. (Polite way of saying not a lot there) But clean and comfortable. I guess we're used to tea and coffee facilities in the uk.
Food and beer we're great, some staff spoken english but once I bust out the German they really opened up!
Superb grounds to wander about in of an evening too.
Breakfast was just like and other euro breakfast, no issues.
Didnt use the pool so can't comment. Plan on returning
$$$$
