The room we stayed in was a 127 years old. That was pretty cool. It was the old library room. The hosts were amazing. We had a great breakfast with two different couples and had a great conversation., would do it again in heartbeat.

The house is very beautiful. The only improvement that needs to be made is that in our upstairs room, the air conditioner was so loud it was like white noise every time it turned on. That was disruptive.
The breakfast frittata was not warm and hard to cut into with a butter knife. It would have been easier to have the juices out with the coffee for self serve.
Overall, we enjoyed the conversation at breakfast with the other travelers and the kindness of the staff.

The cottage was restful, charming, clean, airy, and comfortable. Our host was welcoming, informative, helpful. Our breakfast was delicious and it was so pleasant to share the table in the main house with other travelers. When we needed a few things for the house, help was swift in coming. We could easily have stayed longer!

We had a wonderful time at the 1899 inn. The breakfast was wonderful. The owners were so interesting to visit with. Aaron knew so much history about the Deadwood area. The inn is so close to the downtown area of Deadwood. We will be back for another stay when we are back to the Black Hills.
