The room was very basic but worked for us. It was a little cramped for two people; a small bathroom with only half a door (apparently normal in Europe) but made for a wet floor outside of the shower stall.
AC worked very well. Staff was very helpful and lent me a hair dryer when I asked. There is no elevator but fortunately we were only 1 floor from the ground with a little view of a residential courtyard. Price was reasonable for the location (chose it for the location).
The lication was perfect with lots of little cafes and icecream stores around. It was a 5 minute walk to Venice St Lucia train station (we arrived by train) and a 10 minute walk (over a high bridge with lots of stairs which were not good for a large suitcase or someone with mobility issues).
It was a 25 minute walk to the Rialto bridge and another 8-10 minutes to St Mark's Square. Make sure to wear comfortable footwear.

The staff was amazing. Monica and Antonio were the best every morning. They have no problems answering questions and are very patient trying to understand other languages. The breakfast was great. The room was neat, they did room service everyday. Walking distance to local bars restaurants and most importantly the Vatican. The WiFi is great. Yes the shower is a bit small but who cares unless you’re a bit overweight. Amazing experience
