We loved our stay at the Fern River Resort and would highly recommend it to everyone. We rented Cabin 11A, and it was exactly what was described. I think this would be a great place for a family of 4 or more as I think the kids would love the little loft. The place was clean, all of the kitchen items you would need were there. The bed was super comfy. We only stayed one night, wish we could have stayed longer.

Visited with family of eight in three excellent cabins. Very comfortable, very beautiful. We all loved, loved, loved it! The river was a big highlight for the kids! We will be back! We intend to make an annual get-together here!

The resort is in a beautiful spot in the woods and right near the San Lorenzo River. The staff are friendly and the check-in was smooth - after direct communication with the resort. We booked the two-bedroom cottage with a loft. Appreciated the full kitchen but do wish the resort would invest in some new towels and blankets. The towels were at least 10 years old as were the blankets and my son said the one on his bed did not smell pleasant. Overall though a great venue and will book again.
