The staff were so friendly and helpful... My room was clean and comfy... Breakfast was excellent.... good quality produce and well cooked...

Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room. Luckily he mentioned it later, and it got sorted and refunded. Would definitely stay there again, beautiful old building, and although a pub was very quiet in our room, which was at the top.
