Old style hotel brass keys, reasonable price, good bkfst. In old town so sometimes noisy at night & early one morning. German language helps but not necess.

Right in the heart of the historic centre, warm and very quiet.
Room was reasonably furnished and extremely good value for money, given the location.
Staff extremely helpful about looking after my baggage after I checked out.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel am Friedrichsbad. The location is excellent: central, quiet, safe, and within walking distance of Baden-Baden's main attractions.
The room was clean and comfortable. We had a minor issue with the air conditioning, but the hotel provided a fan and, thanks to the mild weather, it was not a major problem.
The breakfast was outstanding and one of the highlights of our stay. There was a wide selection of cheeses, sausages, eggs, hot dishes, and excellent coffee.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They arranged an early morning taxi for us, provided clear instructions for our early checkout, and offered discounted spa tickets.
Overall, a welcoming hotel with a family atmosphere. We would happily stay here again.
