I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is small, just a handful of rooms. It was very clean & the bed very comfortable & with efficient air con. I was lucky enough to have a room overlooking the ruins of Largo Argentina - ruins of ancient temple (& a cat sanctuary). The room was reasonably small, fine for one person however, but what an amazing view to wake up to.
It was lovely having access to the kitchen where food & cold drinks were available at all times.
Roton, the host, was really friendly & helpful both answering my enquiries about taxis before I arrived & also whilst I was staying there.
The hotel location was very central within walking distance of many tourist attractions. Public transport is excellent as buses & trams run nearby & there are plenty of restaurants & gelato shops in the area.
I found the hotel a little difficult to find initially. When you get to Piazza dei Calcarari, stand with your back to the ruins of Largo Argentina & standing in front of & facing Tigre supermarket (very handy, & stocks everything), then you need to go down the alley to your left where you will find number 2, Largo dei Ginnasi on your left.
I would definitely stay here again & have already recommended it to friends.
