Staff was friendly but only some of them spoke English or used a translator app for communication; all staff should be able to speak English. At least some of the amenities should be listed in English, with pictures, this would help immensely. The jacuzzi was not warm at all, but it lists the jacuzzi as an amenity. The towel caddy was not stocked so you needed to walk to the other pool to get towels, which was inconvenient. The swim up bar was never open and there was no wait staff servicing the pool area. The drink list included Margaritas, but the bartender did not know how to make them properly at all. Also, they do not have Chardonnay available, which should be a standard offering; the wine list was pretty much non-existent.
The Guest Services Manager Erik was very nice and helpful; he was able to help us with internet access and advise us on local areas to visit.
The gift shop had nothing with the name of the hotel and Sanya, no t-shirts or stuffed animals or anything else to showcases the location. The kids always like souvenirs that show where they have been.
The property is beautiful and the gym is really nice too. Everything is clean and kept up nicely.

Cozy hotel and resort. NICE!
Buffet Breakfast is tasty, especially the fruit juice.

The staff at this hotel were behind excellent. They went out of their way to help us on multiple occasions including booking restaurants, ordering taxis, arranging return transportation and more. I don’t think I’ve experienced this level of hospitality at a hotel before. We will certainly go back to this hotel.
