It is an interesting property due to the "invisible" check in process - never had that before - but it worked just fine. My only complaint was that the room had lights that just wouldnt turn off. There was a light at the front door that no matter which switch you pushed or held down, it wouldnt turn off, so you were sleeping with a light on, which isnt ideal. There was another large light in the bathroom that seemed to be on a daily timer, so it wouldnt turn off during the day, but did automatically turn off at night...less of an issue then.
Other than that, the check in and everything was easy. The property and room were very clean. The location in the center of town was very nice. The private parking for guests was welcome. I would stay again...with a sleep mask :)

This hotel on the inside is one of the most thought out designed hotels we have ever stayed in. Our room was so beautiful and comfortable that we didn’t want to leave to eat dinner. We had dinner and came back to sit on the patio and drink wine. Every detail was there. They had an espresso machine, wine glasses, cozy throw blankets, and your own robe and slippers. We would come back to Solvang just to stay in this hotel.
The check in was a bit confusing but once we called we were immediately assisted.
The bath products are from a shop in Denver and they give you the option to purchase items from the collection, which I highly recommend! The smells and the way my skin felt, amazing!
We traveled the PCH and this was by far the best stay.
