We had an amazing stay at Livro Hotel in Istanbul—it’s honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is incredibly kind, polite, and welcoming. There’s always someone there to greet you, and they make you feel safe and well taken care of throughout your stay.
The location is excellent, right in the Old City and close to major attractions, shopping areas, and restaurants. It’s also near a government building, so there’s a strong police presence, which made us feel very safe. Despite being so central, the area is quiet and peaceful.
The service at the reception is outstanding. The staff is always ready to help with anything you need, whether it’s arranging a taxi or answering questions, and there’s 24-hour support.
The breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of traditional Turkish options, and it changes slightly every day, which keeps it interesting. Everyone—from the receptionists to the housekeeping staff and the breakfast team—is genuinely friendly and attentive.
The rooms are modern, very clean, and well-maintained. Housekeeping does a great job daily, including changing the bedding. The rooms also include thoughtful amenities like a teapot with Turkish tea and coffee, a small fridge with water, and a safe. The bathroom is spacious and very functional, with plenty of shelves for your belongings.
Overall, this is a new, modern hotel with a bright and pleasant atmosphere. Communication is great, the location is perfect, and the service is exceptional. I

From booking the Livro o check out the staff was great. Before we even landed in Istanbul they reached out to make sure if we needed any help booking a driver from the airport, tours, etc. They booked a driver for us and any questions we had they were quick to respond. The hotel was location was perfect. Easy to get to the places we wanted to go, lots of eating options all around, great breakfast at the hotel every morning was included and the hotel was very clean.
