Very nicely updated and they did a wonderful job preserving the authentic interior. The bar has a terrific selection and the restaurant menu had something for everyone. It's not a quiet location but that's kind of obvious being at the very center of town. I can imagine during the summer months there would be quite a bit more street noise but the later it got, the quieter it became. I was in room #8 so the kitchen exhaust was below my window (which I did not open) and that put out a bit of an unpleasant smell in my room from time to time. Next time I stay I will request a different room location but I really liked the hotel and all it's charm and would definitely stay here again!

Everything was fantastic as was every staff member I met while there. One thing for someone to be aware of is that the establishment is on the corner of the main 2 streets in Lexington. So if you are bothered by traffic noise, I would suggest asking for a room not on the street if possible. It was not bad during my stay, but I was there during the off season. My room was directly above where the cars stop at the intersection. A lot of traffic in peak season could be an issue for some people. This is just informational and not a complaint. The establishment cannot control this.

They were kind enough to let me have a very early check in which allowed me to maximize the day. The room was clean and bright and all amenities provided were awesome.
