Breakfast is a real highlight. I stayed there for a week and enjoyed a different hot breakfast every day as well as cereal, oatmeal, variety of breads for toast, etc. The location is the best of the Village as one can have a nice stroll down the street and eat at the fine restaurants and drink at the wine bars without having to drive. The rooms are comfortable and cosy and the patio is rich with flora. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I’m certainly looking forward to my next visit and staying at the Squibb house/barn again.

We stayed upstairs in the refurbished, newer bldg. where breakfast is prepared. The young lady who runs the kitchen does an outstanding job, cooking excellent hot foods and arranging other items in a nice buffet style. The check-in and checkout procedure is so simple that no staff needs to be involved and paperwork is not required. Afterhours, no problem either. The room is thoroughly clean, but a few minor mechanical issues could use some attention. Overall it's a great B & B that provides an exceptional experience for guests.

The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was exceptional. The building we stayed in was old. We live in an 120 year old home but this seemed much older. Our room, especially the bathroom, was small. Be aware the stairwell is steep and narrow which may not be an issue if you do not have to carry large or heavy bags to your room.

This was a nice bed-and-breakfast run by friendly and capable people who responded quickly to any issues and resolved them. Would definitely recommend it.
