This was our first time staying at an Onsen, and it was amazing. The staff were very friendly, and I must say the Breakfast was great. The Onsen was fantastic, it is certainly different than being in a “jacuzzi” or “hot tub”. As for the sleeping, surprisingly comfortable, it is no wonder Tatami Mats have been used even to this day. If you’re a curious first timer I definitely would recommend staying here. The staff going above and beyond for guests is more than enough a reason to stay here.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Very steep uphill though. Do not recommend walking to the property with luggage as it is extremely difficult.

I've been suffering from the right hip joint pain for many years, which I usually notice it whenever I climb stairs. In this morning, I took Onsen, and after that, I don't feel the pain at stairs. Is it just temporarily or lasting for awhile? Will see how it will be. Anyway, I do appreciate this ryokan's Onsen!
