Royalton Antigua was the perfect choice for our honeymoon. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives and just immerse ourselves in a relaxed environment. This was well supported by the staff, although there were a few questions marks upon our earlier than usual check in (around 10am), when we did return to the lobby for check-in around 2pm, it was a completely different vibe and much more aligned with our expectations. The food was good throughout our stay, especially those Wings from the Sports Bar and the day they served Pepper Steak for lunch at the buffet.
Our Expedia rep Antoinette was very pleasant, proactive, accommodating and thoughtful. She called the first evening of our stay and introduced herself. Shortly after that, I ran into her while grabbing dinner, but she did not yet know who I was, and neither did I know who she was. She presented herself with positive and jovial energy and it became a funny moment when she later saw me sitting with my wife and decided to come over and ask if by chance, we are her guests. The interaction went on and she continued to be of service throughout our stay. She ensured that we received the "Honeymooners Treatment" which included a complimentary upgrade to the Diamond Club, a decorated room with a bottle of wine, and a dinner on the beach.
All in all, it was an excellent experience, and I would recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy excellent customer service, good food, and a beautiful beach.

Don’t pay attention to previous reviews. Resort is amazing. The food was good and service was slow but they get the stuff done. We tried carribean and steak restaurants and they both weee good. The bar score open till 2am and food was amaizimg. It’s great for food they have tons of kids activities. The pool and ocean very near by which was a plus. The resort not that big so very convenient. You need to try the coffee shop as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The beach, the pool and the drinks were all great. We stayed in a diamond club room and our butlers were very friendly. My dad was with us and he cannot walk far, so we requested golf carts each night from dinner to entertainment stage. The butlers were very accommodating for him and were very responsive with all of our requests.
The negatives would definitely be the restaurants. Not every restaurant was open and despite us asking for a reservation at the steak house when we first arrived, we never got to eat there. It was only open 1 night our whole trip and was booked up immediately (or so we were told). We had dinner at Grazie 2x. Once was fine, but the 2nd time we waited an hour and 45 minutes for our food. The food was not great overall, but we had a few dishes that were good. The best restaurant was the Caribbean one. The sports grill also took 2 hours for lunch. It was a fun trip and we had a relaxing time overall, but I would not stay again.
