Owner Dave and his daughter were extremely friendly and welcoming. Summer Hill Guest House in a very good location to explore the area. The breakfast was excellent and there was a large choice available for all tastes. Parking was good but would be a bit awkward in busy periods.
Room was clean and had a very good shower. We had room 2 and if you're like me 6ft 4 watch your head as you enter...also it would have been better if there was a couple of chairs and table rather then a small fold out bed (I think that's what it was?).
Overall enjoyed our stay and would return.

Beautiful spot very quiet. Easy to access by bus. Fantastic breakfast. Dave was a wonderful host very accommodating and gave us good advice for hiking.

Amazing selection of breakfasts all of excellent quality. Parking very good and situation perfect for exploring the local area. Dave and Becky were the perfect hosts. Very friendly and helpful with a full knowledge of what to do and where to eat. The perfect stay.

Had a lovely stay at Summer Hill guest house. The location is quite not to far from train station and shops. David the host is very welcoming and friendly and as good knowledge on places to visit. There is a good choice for breakfast and room was very comfortable. Will be booking again for next year.
