The hotel was beautiful, but the staff were so-so. We tried to get a light dinner (or "snacks" as they called it) but we could not get anyone to help us (despite being told where to order it) so we ended up going out to eat. The breakfast was pretty good though. The staff at the front desk were not very friendly but they weren't terrible. I would recommend this place because of its physical beauty, despite the less than optimal staff members.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The gardens were beautiful and immaculate. The hotel was well maintained and lovely to spend time in. It is a perfect example of a great British hotel.

The hotel is in a wonderful location with beautiful views. It's a very special, charming place. The Sunday lunch was the best we have had in a very long time. We absolutely loved our visit and hopefully will return.
