This is a really nice place to stay in Athens. The staff was amazing, even recommending several good restaurants that were within walking distance. We were only passing through for one night, but Moon and Stars is at the top of our list of places to stay in Athens in the future. This was so much better than staying near the airport in an overpriced hotel that has no amenities and basically nothing to do. The area of the hotel seemed safe. The rooms were nice. My wife commented that this was the best breakfast we had in Greece during our 11 day tour. The rooftop lounging are is not to be missed, as it has a wonderful view of several historical sites. My only slight negative was that the AC would not go below 22 degrees, which is a good bit warmer than I prefer at night. I highly recommend staying here.

This hotel exceeded expectations. In keeping with the history of the building they provided an enjoyable atmosphere. The front desk receptionist was wonderful and so informative. And the breakfast was delightful in taste and presentation. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Athens and hope to visit again soon
