The location: you are in a quite neighbourhood and you can easily walk to the mains spots (Psiri, Plaka, Acropolis)
The rooftop pool: perfect ending for a day of walking.

I booked a bed in a mixed dorm at Okupa, and honestly I’ve never stayed at a hostel that was that beautiful and comfortable. Everything was perfect : the common areas are so well designed, the cleanliness was impeccable, and the entire staff (reception, bar, housekeeping) was lovely and very attentive. I’ll definitely be back, it was truly a great experience and as a woman traveling alone, I felt completely safe staying here. Also bonus points for the DJ sets in the evening and the rooftop with the pool. Highly recommended !

Every aspect of the stay was just exceptional, If I ever come back to Athens this is my place , but I would definitely go for a private room with balcony with view to the Acropolis! Thanks so much

Clean.
Hated that they pipe in perfume to the lobby, I’m allergic and it gave me bad headaches when I walked through. Didn’t seem too bad in the morning for breakfast, but it was really cranked on for the rest of the day. I mentioned it to the staff but they didn’t care.
