Very nice boutique hotel. The staff were very helpful and the room was comfortable. The bathroom is a little small. They could use a full length mirror in the room. We enjoyed our stay there.

The Sant'Andrea was perfect for our stay in Santa Margherita. Our room (Miriam) was beautiful, clean and very well appointed. The staff was great and had many suggestions that helped us make the best use of our time in the area. The breakfast items we tried were all excellent and the menu had many options that we didn't try but certainly sounded tasty. In planning our trip to Italy we wanted to visit the Italian Riviera area and decided that Santa Margherita would be a good location giving us access to the places we wanted to visit by train or ferry. We'd highly recommend the Sant'Andrea.

The hotel is an elegant and seated in excellent location. It's far beyond my expectations in a such good price. It's very convenient to all attractions. Only take us 8 minutes walking to the bus station or the ferry terminal that can take you to Portofino (it takes around 15 minutes to Portofino by bus or ferry). Santa Margherita Ligure itself is a beautiful place that worth to spend some time. I am highly recommend you to stay this hotel if you plan to visit Portofino. I will definitely stay here if I come here again.

I’ve stayed at hundreds if not thousands of hotels both in the US, Europe, South America and Asia. From oasis bungalows to some of the nicer 5 star hotels. Do not be fooled by the 3 stars of this hotel. The staff are some of the most caring and helpful I have ever experienced. Whether it’s the inclusive breakfasts in the morning, the help with reservations and beach clubs or simply chatting and learning more about the history of Santa Margerita. The room itself is bright spacious and clean. The hotel is run by people who love to travel so they maintain this energy for you. As an American we love our water and they would always give me bottles, focaccia, and even medicine when you eat something a little funky in town. There are no hidden fees or surcharges so it is extremely reasonable and I felt very safe and in good hands during my stay and cannot wait to be back :)
