This was my first time staying at Scarletz Suites, and I was pleasantly surprised!
The room was bigger than I expected- it had a dining area and kitchenette- and I had a nice view. The vibe in and around the hotel is kind of 'backpacker fashionable', with several affordable restaurants nearby, and the Petronas Towers a less than 10 minute walk away. The pool and gym were both really nice- I would come back for the pool alone!
A few things were a bit strange- the level 8 garden is a bit neglected, so not somewhere that people might want to spend a lot of time, and some areas of the hotel had a weird smell, which I think was coming from the drains. Also, I was expecting the rooftop restaurant to be open, and it, plus a lounge up there, seemed to be not opening yet, with furniture still wrapped up in plastic.
All in all, I would check for availability here first, the next time I'm coming back to KL. It had an authetically 'hip' vibe, and is good value, vs the nearby W Hotel, which is hoping to capture a similar feel but at 5x the price.

Great proximity to the twin towers which was very convenient. Owner came by when we checked in to show us the amenities. Swimming pool was amazing with a fantastic view. Have a washer/dryer was very convenient
