Decent location. Our room was directly above the pub, which led to some later evening noise on the weekend. Great breakfast. Would stay again.

Our stay at Nevins Newfield Inn was outstanding. We were greeted and welcomed by the proprietors and personally shown to our room in the Lodge. We were given a room facing away from the road as we had requested and on the 1st floor so that we did not need to carry our luggage to the 2nd floor as there is no elevator. The rooms in the lodge have been recently refurbished. We booked a Deluxe King room. There was plenty of room even with a large comfortable bed.,The room was very quiet in spite of the facility being right off of the Wild Atlantic Hwy about 1/2 way between Newport & Mulranny. The facility is spotless & decor in the lodge is like staying in a private home. There is no AC in the rooms but the windows opened securely and we had ample air flow to be comfortable. The rooms are equipped with fans and a luxurious modern bathroom with walk in shower, heated towel racks and plenty of room to hang towels to dry as well as a microwave & small refrigerator. Made to order breakfast & parking is included with your stay. All of the staff were very welcoming & the owner stopped by our table at dinner to personally thank us for staying with them. Such a warm Irish welcome! An added benefit is that the Greenway is a short walk from the Inn & bikes can be rented from Sea breeze Bike Hire in Mulranny right on the Greenway for those who want to ride any portion of the 52 km trail from Westport Achill Island. I would definitely recommend you stay here if you are traveling to this area

Stayed one night August 2026. Our room was in the Lodge next door. Lovely big room, spotlessly clean and a decent sized en-suite. Very comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent - we both had the full Irish. Cooked to perfection and sufficient to keep us going all day. Overall I would have to rate as excellent.
