This is a stand-by for me whenever I leave early or arrive late from the Sanford Airport. Clean, reasonably priced, visually alluring. Bonus for Shula's Steakhouse!

Our stay at Strawberry Hill Resort and Spa was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth, professionalism, and genuine Jamaican hospitality. Every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and committed to excellence. What stood out most was how quickly and compassionately the team responded during my husband’s emergency situation. Their care, urgency, and calm support meant more to us than words can fully express. That level of service is something we will never forget. The property itself is breathtaking — peaceful, private, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by the most stunning views of the Blue Mountains. I would rate the property a 9.5 out of 10. The only reason it is not a full 10 is because the final road leading up to the resort is very rough and could be improved, and the pool was not quite as appealing as the rest of the property. The food was also excellent — 9.5 out of 10. Everything was well-prepared and enjoyable, though I would have loved to experience a little more authentic Jamaican spice and traditional preparation in some of the dishes. The staff, however, were absolutely 10 out of 10. The overall experience was 10 out of 10. Strawberry Hill is a special place filled with beauty, peace, and exceptional people. We are deeply grateful for our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for rest, restoration, and a truly memorable experience in Jamaica.

Great stay! The restaurant that is connected to the hotel has gluten-free options and a great bar. The hotel is very clean and a nice place to stay in the area.
