This is a very well maintained, modest hotel in a lovely part of town. The staff is very friendly and accommodating but note that the reception desk closes between 10:30p and 6:30a. The hotel is small and not spectacular but for a simple, straightforward stay in Heidelberg on a charming square (with a farmers market some mornings) it’s really exceptional.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! We enjoyed ot 2 night stay there, the room was wonderful and the air conditioning felt good on such a hot day! There was a small market on Wednesday across from the hotel that was wonderful, and the location was perfect, just a few blocks from the river and walking distance to markt platz. Highly recommend this hotel!
