The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. Facing the hotel to the right the street going towards the subway had many local eateries. We visited two excellent ones. One which served different types of lamb and one that was a hot pot. To the left going in the same direction towards the subway is the American restaurant such as Ruth, Chris, steakhouse and McDonald's. So it is very convenient for food. The subway is a short but pleasant walk. There is also a large PX Market going down the right toward the subway. Thus, it is a excellent location and we have stayed at both Grace's hotels in Taipei and both have been excellent.

Stayed here for one night as a solo traveler and first time visiting Taipei. Very friendly staff and room was spacious and clean. My one complaint was that my room had a window the only thing outside of it was a cement wall and really bright sterile lights that I couldn’t control/turn down. Wasn’t looking for a view necessarily but would have liked to know it was going to be bright in the room all night in advance. Overall solid and worth the price.

The room was cozy and clean, but once I turned off all the lights, I noticed some light coming through the glass window, which made it a bit harder for me to fall asleep.
