This was a perfect hotel from my son and me. We enjoyed being so close to the Colosseum and other great historical sites. There are a lot of restaurants and other shops near by. The staff was helpful when we had questions. Our room was so clean and we would totally stay here in the future.

Our stay at First Floor was absolutely wonderful and one of the highlights of our trip to Rome. The hotel is beautifully designed, exceptionally clean, and offers a unique and memorable experience with stunning views of the Colosseum. The staff was outstanding—friendly, professional, and always willing to help with recommendations and anything we needed to make our stay more comfortable.
The room was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. The location is excellent, within walking distance of many of Rome’s most iconic attractions, restaurants, and shops. Waking up to such an incredible view and enjoying the warm hospitality made this a truly unforgettable experience.
We highly recommend First Floor to anyone looking for a distinctive and luxurious stay in Rome. We would gladly stay here again on our next visit.
Side note: The hotel is located in a vibrant and welcoming LGBTQ+ area, which adds to the lively atmosphere and charm of the neighborhood. Because of this, and since the restaurant next door becomes a nightclub later in the evening, it can get a bit noisy at night. However, this did not diminish our overall excellent experience.

The staff was so accommodating, very helpful, and just so nice in general. They also either own or have a great working relationship with the restaurant downstairs, Coming Out. We went twice as the food was great and the staff was awesome AND you got a 15% discount! To top it off, it’s right across from the Colosseo. Lastly, they allowed us to store our luggage even though we had already checked out. I would highly recommend this place!
