Very pleasant stay! We were welcome right at our arrival by family running this place and immediately felt like home. Everyone way very kind and friendly. Simple but very comfortable and clean. We loved the food at outside terrace as well…it was nice and quiet so perfect after the day at / around Kandy and all the people :) with amazing Halenta coffee close by.

Sandy went out of her way to assist us during our stay to arrange a hike in Knuckles Ranges, suggest and advise on how best to plan to enjoy the spectacular Perahera Street parade.
Madu was so obliging with timing for breakfast and the meals he prepared to suit our plans.
The environment is so peaceful, an oasis to escape the Kandy hustle and bustle!
The cooking class was a fun and informative experience, enjoying the meal at the end in a relaxed space.
There was no negatives for us.

The food was amazing
They double charged my friend and took days to refund him, called him disrespectful when he contacted booking.com to facilitate the refund process - mind you it was his money - however, I had no personal problem with the owner. Had insects in the bathroom.
