Time spent in Southcott Pines, in Grand Bend will be a balm to your soul. Old growth oak and towering pine trees provide a shady refuge in any weather.
Shady Oaks Cottage is a totally renovated split level family cottage set up for a comfortable beach vacation. The beach in Southcott Pines is one of the best on the Lake Huron Shoreline. A nice sandy bottomed entry takes you into the blue waters of Lake Huron. The beach is a short walk away over quiet residential roads which wind through the forest.
Relax on the large side deck with your new novel, or just stretch out inside the large living room. A gas fireplace in the lower level living room will ward off the chills on the cooler nights. Try out that dish you have been meaning to cook in the large kitchen. There is a huge amount of counter space.
This cottage has 4 Queen, 2 Double and 1 Twin Bed .
Shady Oaks is set up for fun! Enjoy a game of billiards or ping pong if you are inside on a rainy day. Have a seat at the bar for a glass of your favourite libation.

Wonderful property! Well appointed. We were not familiar with the electric stove top so some instructions would be helpful other but otherwise wonderful!

Lots of room for our group and well equipped kitchen Easy to get to and well located to get shopping, wineries and the beach even though we had bad weather We couldn’t get either tv to work so it was lucky that my son in law had a fire stick we could use on one of them. We contacted the owner but did not receive any help.

Minor issues were addressed immediately by the host, excellent communication. The house is nicer than the pictures even show. We had a great time

Pros:The house was lovely. Better than the pictures. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook. The pool table was so much fun Lots of space on the property Has great vibes The upstairs bedrooms had amazing and comfortable beds. The upstairs shower feels like you are showering in a spaceship which was super funCons:The lights were not so bright. The downstairs bedrooms had uncomfortable bedsOverall it was absolutely beautiful and stunning! The pictures do not do it justice!The person I spoke to was fantastic and friendly and answered all my questions very quickly.
