Stunning views location was amazing
The outdoor patio light didn't work

Petit chalet (dans un parc à chalets) avec une vue splendide. Il est extrêmement bien équipé compte tenu de sa taille ! Chaleureux, propre et au calme, c'est un magnifique lieu de vacances !
Tout était très bien !

The chalet was super clean, well-decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. We stayed for a week, and we were honestly sad to leave. Our little boy loved all the toys and books he found in the kids' room, and he was so happy with the bunk bed. The view from the living room was amazing; the kitchen was very well equipped — the coffee machine deserves a shoutout, as it made a spectacular espresso (as Italians, it was so appreciated!). The fenced patio was great for our dog and our peace of mind, since she could stay outside on her own if she wanted to, and it was also our favourite place to have breakfast outside — or any other meal, really. The fenced field right next to the chalet was a lovely spot to play with our child and dog, and it was definitely a plus. Also, the position of the chalet was great; Tywyn and its beach (dogs allowed on the right and left ends of the beach) are only 5 mins by car, the lovely coastal village of Aberdyfi is less than 10 mins by car, and Aberystwyth is about 1 hour. The Talyllyn Railway (we went on the Sunset special, dogs allowed and given treats) is also 5 mins by car and is a must!!! Can't recommend this chalet enough!

The view from the accommodation was outstanding. The chalet occupies the best position in the park and isn't overlooked at all. The site is very quiet and the local area is beautiful. There's long sandy beaches and lots of interesting shops and cafes to explore. The chalet is very well equipped. The WiFi was good. It's great for dogs as the front is very secure.
I think if I were to be completely honest, I felt a little disappointed when we arrived. The chalet is listed as luxury and we did not feel it was. We would describe it more as a cosy lodge, but felt that many things didnt constitute the word luxury, such as the original carpets (1980's?) and the smell of damp when we entered. Sadly the conservatory was not usable as there was no heating in it and the walls and windows were dripping with water. This cut our seating space down by half and we did feel a little hemmed in. The chalet was absolutely freezing when we arrived and it took a couple of hours for the place to start to warm. The bedding was freezing when we got in. I felt as though the whole chalet needed a day or so of heating before we arrived. As another reviewer mentioned, the sheets were creased as though someone else had slept in them. Four of us booked but we were only given two bath towels. There was a problem with the drinking water which meant we had to buy bottled water. We didn't know until we arrived that the water there isn't drinkable and only one tiny tap for drinking. We managed though and the hosts did respond immediately. The driveway to the lodge was very muddy and our car skidded a few times as we tried to reverse up. The TV isn't a smart one so didn't connect to the Internet. This was a shame as we only managed BBC1 in the evenings. It's pitch black at night but the outside light wasn't working. We tried it but my husband said it was making an 'arcking' sound whilst flickering. The electric meter door cupboard blew open overnight so we were lucky we didn't lose electric.
