Lovely location in the heart of Amboise
Access wasn’t the best with a vehicle, and due to the extreme hot weather it was very hot. The host provided plenty of fans, but unfortunately there is not much natural air flow in this property due to its end of the street location and high sided walls all around.

The location was good except for parking. There was paid parking available close by but difficult to get a spot. We were somewhat "lucky" since we were traveling with my 85-yr old mother and she has a handicap sticker for parking. The place was clean and compact and located on a quiet cul-de-sac within walking distance of many cafes, bars and restaurants and the main street going to the Chateau Amboise. Great location!
The downstairs area comprising the living room (with a comfortable couch and armchair), dining area and kitchen was small but adequately equipped. There was a closed in patio that we did not use which is nice for the warmer months (it is heated). The host was very nice and friendly (on the phone) and responsive to our texts. She left us a local bottle of wine which was a very nice touch! Would definitely recommend staying there if on a short stay.
The living/dining area is small but that is too be expected in some houses in the center of the city.
