A nice traditional Japanese ryokan but the condition of the room and quality of dinner were not up to the standard of similarly priced properties that we have stayed in.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hoshino Kai Hotel, and it was truly a top-notch experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff's warm and friendly service made me feel at home. They were attentive to every detail, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible.
The room was cozy yet spacious, offering the perfect blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. Every aspect of the design exudes relaxation, from the soft lighting to the plush bedding. It felt like a private sanctuary where I could unwind completely.
One of the standout features was the private onsen. Having access to such a peaceful and serene space elevated the experience. The mineral-rich waters and beautiful surroundings made it feel like I had a personal spa at my fingertips.
