we loved the location, the ambience of the apartment however it was very hot and one fan did not work at all and for four people only two small rolls of toilet paper was a HUGE MISTAKE.

Delphine’s apartment was exactly what we were looking for. It was extremely charming and well decorated. You can tell her place is well cared for. The location is incredible but the thick windows keep the noise out. The property manager was very communicative about the check in process and he even helped us with getting our bags up the stairs.

A beautiful apartment, quintessentially French. Very charming in a fantastic location. The photos and information were very accurate so we knew to expect antiques, floorboards and beams. On paper it’s not the most practical for a family as it is up a lot of steps to the apartment, there is no bath and it’s “cosy” in size, but for our family with a 7 and 5 year old it worked very well for a short stay whilst exploring the city. We appreciated the proper twin beds which most of the alternatives couldn’t offer, the kitchen is old fashioned but everything works and it’s really clean, with all the kit we needed. The steps are tiring, and I agree with some of the reviews that the main bed was uncomfortable, but I think maybe Brits are fussier than most Europeans having experienced many a sleepless night on the continent! There was scaffolding up on part of the building which we were told about in advance and didn’t affect our stay in any way. In summary, an authentic, charming Parisian apartment in a great location, very clean and quiet for the middle of the city, great communication throughout our stay. Thank you Delphine and the team for a memorable weekend.

Charming apartment, very well located on the left bank. Like most old Paris apartments there is no a/c so if you are staying in July it can be a little warm up on the 3rd floor when the temp is above mid 20s. The 3rd party contact we dealt with to gain access and for any issues during our stay was frustrating to deal with - very poor communication and he wasn’t there to let us in upon arrival at agreed time. The mattress in the main bedroom needs replacing, we kept rolling into the middle throughout the night.
