Prime Location with Unbeatable Transit & Dining

Fantastic stay in a great location! Restaurants and public transit are right downstairs, and the subway station is less than a 10-minute walk for a direct train to the airport. The host was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Even with shared facilities, the restroom and shower were never an issue, I never had to wait, and shower gel was provided. The shared kitchen was great for cooking and making morning coffee, and the no-shoe policy kept the entire place spotless.

There was a restaurant right outside my window, which made it a bit noisy late at night due to people dining outdoors.

Accessing the accommodation was not easy and people in adjacent apartments were very noisy.

Great location, but a completely useless kitchen

The location is perfect, really central and convenient for exploring Budapest.

However, the kitchen was a big disappointment: there are stovetops, but no utensils at all no pots, no pans, not even forks. Basically, the kitchen is unusable. I tried reaching out to the host about it, but they never replied. It’s a shame, because with just a bit of equipment and better communication, this place could’ve been great.

I do not recommend this place to anybody. It could use some updating, as it is pretty neglected.

I am a small person, but the shower stall was so tiny, I had a problem turning around. I stayed for 17 days, and only two (yes, 2) bath towels were provided. I asked the cleaning crew for more, but they said to contact the owner. I was also very disappointed with the owner, because I had asked for the code 20 hours before my departure. He assured me and said not to worry. However, I asked again for it 2 hours before my departure and still did not receive the code. It was crucial to me because I do not have a cell phone, and I told him that. I had to rely on other people to get in touch with him on my behalf.
