The location was good, close to the Opera House and the building's entrance was on a safe street.
There was an elevator (small but big enough).
It was quiet at night and we didn't hear much noise around us.
The room had a high ceiling and was spacious enough.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and a fully automatic washer/dryer (laundry detergent must be brought).
The owner charged us more than double the tourist tax.
The owner and Booking.com had informed us beforehand that the tourist tax was 93 euros. I sent the owner a message saying I would pay with a 200-euro note (since it's a large bill, I figured the staff would need to have change ready). When I handed over a 200€ bill at check-in, the staff didn't give me any change. Then when I called the owner, he said the tourist tax was 200€! After pressing him several times, he admitted it was 93€!
Our original check-in time was 1:00 PM, but we requested an early check-in and were granted permission to change it to 12:00 PM. However, when we were shown to our room at 12:00 PM that day, we were told the cleaning was not finished and the room would not be ready until 2:00 PM, and we were asked to leave the room.
Therefore, we felt distrust and unease toward the owner.
The bathroom was old and lacked a sense of cleanliness. The absence of a shower curtain was particularly inconvenient.
There were absolutely no amenities such as shampoo or soap.
The bath towels were stiff.
The extra bed was a sofa bed, so it wasn't flat and wasn't comfortable to sleep on.

This property had no previous reviews on Booking.com and I was a bit reluctant to book it. It turned out to be excellent. I stayed by myself for 4 nights. Fun and interesting artwork, comfortable bedding and a good kitchen that I did not use. The apartment is on a quiet street, and is set back quite a ways from the street itself, it is a very quiet apartment. There is a King bed in the master and two pull out couches. I did not try the other beds. The upstairs pull out couch (in a loft) is accessed via a spiral stair case that would be difficult for someone who is not agile. The apartment is two flights up, but there is an elevator.
