Beautiful, new hotel and villas. Great restaurant and lovely pool. The staff were so professional and accommodating to us even though we were traveling with a toddler. Amador was the best!
You can’t swim off the property due to brackish water but we knew that going in. The beach at Placencia is 5 minutes by boat so that was an easy alternative.

From start to finish Prana Maya was a wonderful 4 days. We were upgraded to a villa which was incredible. The staff are all so nice and genuinely happy to chat to us. Thank you

My husband and I feel so grateful for our recent two-night, adults-only getaway at the beautiful Prana Maya Island Resort in Placencia, Belize.
It was a much-needed pause, and the kindness of the team—from the thoughtful room upgrade to the carefully curated touches throughout our property and stay—made it feel truly special.
Our beachfront villa with a private pool, the warm hospitality, world class wellness spa, and delicious cuisine created a restorative experience we’ll always remember.
A heartfelt thank-you to the wonderful team at Prana Maya for making our stay so memorable. If your travels bring you to Placencia and you’re looking for a peaceful, luxury retreat, this newly opened resort is a lovely option to consider.

Lækkert rum. Tæt på havet. Placencia er skøn og det fungerede rigtig fint med shuttlebådene. Og gode legefaciliteter.
Morgenmaden var ikke særlig spændende. Gym lidt under equipped.
