The place is excellent as well
as the beautiful garden and pool; only 6 elegant rooms so it’s very quiet and secluded. Room was specious and well appointed.
The pool and garden are a rare commodity in Lecce and are the main assets of this property.
It’s not a real 5* hotel because it does not have even the beguinning of a 5* service: staff is scarce or simply inexistant; breakfast is limited and lacks the quality and the variety of what you would expect in a 5* hotel. Towels and bed sheets are never changed in the room, etc.
Also they don’t have a twin beds option, nor do they have the possibility of an additional bed in the - very spacious, over 40m2 - room I had.
It’s hard and expensive to have a full 5* staff and service with only 6 rooms, but as it is advertised as a 5* place, this level of service should be offered and it’s not unfortunately not the case, despite quite high prices.
We later moved the Patria Lecce for Hotel, and it is a real 5* hotel, but significantly more expensive to be honest.
Also, but this is well advertised in the other guests’ comments, the place is located in an industrial zone and between a maze of highways, which you fortunately don’t see from the inside if the property, but its close environment is quite ugly.
You absolutely need a car to reach Lecce (3km away), or come to and depart from the property.

Excellent standard of service. Villa manager was very professional and approachable, nothing was too much trouble. We were made very comfortable. Beautifully decorated villa with authentic Italian antiques. Immaculately clean. Room was perfect, which was spacious with a large terrace and bathroom. The villa and room looked exactly as it does on the website. Wonderfully relaxing pool area, with lush green landscaping surrounding. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety. It was half hour easy walk to town, but we also easily booked a taxi back from town when needed. Would love to return and would definitely recommend to others.

Stunning renovated authentic Italian villa and grounds just a 4 minute drive from the historic center — truly an oasis. The owner Beatrice as well as Manuela and Veronica are warm, welcoming, helpful, gracious and accommodating. The rooms are gorgeous. Breakfast is yummy. The pool and grounds are wonderful. We stayed twice and would stay again. Highly recommend!
It is a visually beautiful tranquil oasis a very short distance to the historic center with parking on the premises. There are very few rooms — all spacious. That and the warmth of the owner and staff make you feel as if it is your home.
