We booked just a day before as the weather was looking a bit changeable and got an amazing deal. When we got there it was a proper 'Oh wow!' moment.
Loved the location, the attention to detail in the apartment and the view, well the view has to be seen to be appreciated.
The apartment we had looks to have been recently refurbished and it has been very well thought out.
Very spacious living room / dining room / kitchen with everything you need.
Spacious bedroom and good sized shower room.
Very good WiFi and the Internet TV allowed us to watch 'Shetland' on Shetland 🤣.
Location is ideal for exploring.
If we have to pick something negative, we really don't want to, it would be that there was scaffolding and ladders etc stacked up outside. This really isn't a complaint though, you don't mind when it's obvious that the owners are investing in refurbishing the property.

The location is peculiar, but if it fits the purpose it's great considering you are close enough to the airport without being within the city. I loved the Ring camera to call the staff, very efficient! The hotel was a lounge and a kitchen which is near considering you are a bit in the middle of nowhere. Room was adequately sized, with enough smart technology to make the whole place cool (Ring camera, smart heater, smart TV...) despite the rural setting outside. Comfy bed and great WiFi reception.
The bathroom toilet was smaller than normal, or at least it felt like that... Very essential bathroom overall in fact. I found the fact that you had to go outside to reach the bar for the breakfast a bit puzzling, usually you'd be in the same building. The room was missing a wardrobe or otherwise more places to hang up clothes!

The cooked breakfast was generous and good quality; and the view from the breakfast room impressive, even on a grey morning. The bedroom was generous sized, had a desk and chair and was generally reasonably equipped.
Would have liked a glass for rinsing teeth and a hand-towel in the bathroom; and more generous reading light at the bedside. But aside from these niggles, was well-appointed and spotless. The turn-off from the main road if travelling N is a wee bit tricky.

We both enjoyed the our stay although I would recommend to anyone booking that you have your transport sorted. The views are spectacular and the comfort of the pod is good. Slightly picky, but a mirror in the bathroom and a door matt to wipe your feet would be useful. No storage for clothes but we lived out our bags as we only had 2 full days. The Pod had all you need for self catering and it was perfect that the bins were cleaned by the staff every day. Mollie who looked after the Cafe has a very warm personality and a mindfull of the area and how to get around. Shetland was on our bucket list and the property was enough for us and added to having a great time relaxing in a beautiful location.
Not much not to like for us really just the picky little things I mentioned above
