Great apartment. Clean. Very comfortable beds. Well equipped. So handy for the slopes and loved the outdoor saunas after a day on the slopes

It’s not five star in terms of luxury but it is a comfortable place to ski from. It’s on the edge of the village with one green slope right by the door but otherwise you have to walk with your skis up to the chairlifts which takes about 8-10 minutes. There are ski rental shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. The main village hub is a 5-10 minute walk away, up a hill.
The beds are comfortable. The apartment has everything you need. It’s quiet and well set up.
The pool isn’t that warm and the spa areas could be cleaner. It’s not five star, more 3-4 star.

We had a fantastic stay for our family ski holiday.
We've stayed in other places in Avoriaz in the past and the location of L'Amara is just spot on for children.
Our appointment was directly above the ski locker which was straight out onto the run.
We used the pool area a couple of times and although it was quite busy, it never felt crowded.
The parking was convenient and easy to access the appartment from it.
The appartment itself was actually surprisingly roomy for an avoriaz appartment. We had a 2 bed one and it was plenty big enough for a family of 6, including 2 under 5's. The kitchen was well equipped.
Overall, we would stay again if we returned to Avoriaz again.
