About this cottage rental
If you are thinking of a get-away to see Fall Colours, everything is ready! Enjoy hte lake view, walk in the forest, visit small towns, use the three kayaks or canoe (lifejackets provided) maybe even swim in the lake (!) The cottage started as a log cabin 60 years ago, and has been expanded and upgraded. It is now a very comfortable family-friendly get-away on beautiful Four Mile Lake near Coboconk, all large rooms. Stunning sunrise and moon views from livingroom, two of the three bedrooms, two decks, and 50' dock. Peaceful dead-end forested road with cottages only on lake side, and trails beyond dead-end. Sleeps up to six. 3 bedrooms, each with a queen-sized bed. 16'x16' deck with lake view off livingroom, lower deck 8x16. Coboconk, Minden, Fenelon Falls, Lindsay, Kinmount, Haliburton, Bobcaygeon all within 10-35 minutes drive.
The space:
3 entrances/exits, large rooms and windows. All flooring and windows new in past six years (maple in living/bath, wall-to-wall carpeted bedrooms, fully insulated, with wood-burning fireplace and electric baseboard heating.
Guest access
Entire property except one inside storage room which is locked. There is a hot tub on the property which is not available. Garage available for bicycles or RV.

The owner went above and beyond to accommodate our very short notice reservation (24 hours). Excellent communications. The cabin was perfect in all respects with a fabulous view over the lake from the amazing deck. Very spacious with all amenities and extremely peaceful. Easy reach to various lovely small towns (Fenelon Falls and Bobcaygeon) and Provincial parks. Highly recommended.

This cozy cottage near a small, quiet town is the perfect escape! The scenery is beautiful, and the space is super comfortable and inviting. D'Arcy is the perfect host!

D’Arcy was very communicative and was quick to answer all of my questions! This listing is described exactly as shown. It was very cosy and the layout works so well. The wood burning stove and the outdoor shower is perfection! The lake is so nice and clean; went with our pup and he didn’t want to leave the water. Great walking paths; remote enough to feel like you have space to roam, but close enough to stores as needed for last minute items.

Our host D'arcy made sure we had all we needed to have a perfect week, and luck added great weather. Lovely warm cottage, roomy, charming mix of rustic and modern convenience. Unbelievably quiet there, partly due to our time of year, but a relatively small lake thats very, very peaceful. Had one spectacular star night.
