Sandy and Mike are excellent hosts - always helpful and full of useful suggestions. Their Somerset Cottage is lovely, clean and located in a quaint village environment with plenty of greenery, birds chirping happily, a freshwater stream and a lovely, friendly pub and a church at either ends of the street. The Cottage is fully equipped, but anything missing, you just ask Sandy. Location is ideal - within 30 minutes' drive, you can reach Bath, Bristol, Weston-super-Mare and Wells where a beautiful Cathedral is worth a visit. Glastonbury Tor is a little further, but we were disappointed by the lack of parking, so couldn't climb the hill to the Tor. We thoroughly enjoyed a full day walking and climbing at Cheddar Gorge. Convenience stores and petrol stations are 7-10 minutes away. The Plume of Feathers serves delicious pizzas/pub grub and is a minute's walk from the Cottage. We would highly recommend Somerset Cottage and will definitely stay there again when we need to get away from our hustlebusle hectic London life!!
There is really nothing negative to write about Somerset Cottage.
Salt and Malt is a fish and chips restaurant which was recommended to us; however, my wife found her Haddock rather dry and the chips weren't tasty at all, compared with our local Cypriot-run Sea Pebbles in Hatch End.

Perfect for what i needed. Absolutely immaculate inside and in a beautiful setting. Perfect for walks and a pub literally a sones throw away. Sandy and John were very welcoming too.
