Absolutely stunning place, extremely clean, great facilities. Fantastic Wi-Fi. Some lovely walks and close to two pubs.
To turn the shower on. The switch is on the landing wall. Not a massive problem, just a small oversight.

Location excellent for wedding venue at Coombe Lodge but unfortunately a lot of trucks through the night causing noise issue for the local water authority works at the moment.
No fans for the bedrooms and it was very hot. Also no oven glove in kitchen and the smallest ice cube tray I have ever seen.

Location just 15 mins from the gorge was great. Modern interior, nice kitchen, easy parking.
Some people commented about the traffic nose, but it's not a big deal, it's not the M1, just a road through a village!
WiFi was appalling, unusable. Beds weren't comfy. Some cleaning issues (plates, windows) but nothing major.

Easy to book.Plenty of emails with info.Easy to find as we know Blagdon.Plenty of parking.Easy entry with key box.
Love the property decore and outlook.
Could do with a J cloth ,kitchen roll and tea towel.
The cooking tins and saucepans were in a bad condition!
The large saucepans handle was loose and twisted making it unsafe.(we left it out for cleaning team to see)
One of the dining chairs was unsafe it tipped,think the legs have been fitted the wrong way round.As only 3 of us not a problem.
Our MAJOR problem was NO Internet from when we arrived on Tues pm till Wed lunchtime .The TV had limited channels and also kept displaying the same error message as our phones re contact Broadband provider BT.
We knew the WIFI code and password.Our daughter is Tech savvy and couldn't resolve it .It took several text messages to Seb and Eva at Hopewell ,very stressful!!!
The whole purpose of our stay was to allow our daughter( in Somerset on placement) peace and time in the evening to prepare work for a University training day next week and to spend the Wednesday working from Sladacre.
Our daughter had to travel in the evening elsewhere for WIFI and had to go into work all day on the Wed.
Because of this we spent very little time with her and it ruined our trip.
This should be checked pre checkin or warning problems exist!
I feel due to this major problem we should be compensated with a future stay at the property to make up for lost family time and the stress it caused.
