Hen’s is a spotless, well‑kept bolt‑hole in a superb location with fantastic views and scenery. The accommodation is well equipped, and both the site and the immediate surroundings are clearly cared for to a high standard.
Ideally situated not far from Rhayader and the wonderful Elan Valley, it’s a great base for exploring the area.
It was genuinely faultless and we absolutely loved our stay. As with most compact accommodations, storage space is naturally limited and the fridge is sized for smaller amounts — but it was perfectly adequate for our needs.

The cabin was cosy, very quiet location. Views were exceptional. Owners dont bother you at all unless you need something. We had interactions with one of the owners, Lucy. She was professional, Kind and helpful! Theres not much around the cabin but thats how I liked it. We drove to a different part of wales every day as we went to view waterfalls and other things we wanted to see. We had everything we needed inside. Tv small but had every app on it. 2 robes come with for the hot tub which was a nice touch. Theres a red kite bird that was circling the views infront of us, we spent a while watching this from the tub.
All I would say was the hot tub. Its private from behind as theres a hedge, only thing is the cabin next to you. That one has a fence behind it. Could have some kind of barrier between the 2. Just need to clean the filter on the hot tub. A couple of hairs were sat on the filter at the bottom that wasnt ours

Beautiful property with some stunning views. Unwinding and stargazing in a hot tub was my favourite part. Loved immersing in warm, bubbling water, surrounded by the soothing jets while gazing at the vast expanse of the night sky.
We had a very relaxing stay and would definitely come back.
Everything was perfect.

How private and well thought out the cabin is the morning view is gorgeous, especially with a girlfriend stretching in the sun light.
That there was no wine bottle opener.
